School Story

1. Mr. Guarnari was our math teacher; he never smiled. He was all business and he was a good teacher I believe, but he ever smiled. One day Flip Smedley somehow asked him about his military service - for some how not-remembered reason. Mr. Guanari, next class, brought in pictures from his military service and told us all about his experiences. He became more human to us that day and I believe that we all liked him much more - and learned math better - after that day. I understand that he went on to become Cheltenham's Principal.
2. Mr. Mehelich's 1st Drivers education class. Iron Man Mehelich from the Pittsburgh Steelers was so nervous. Over and over he said: "As I said before". "As I said before". Overall I am so honored to have known Mr. Mehelich and to have had him teach me how to block on the football team. Rest in peace.
